Greenman Partners, part of the Greenman Group, the specialist European real estate and investment fund manager with €895m AUM, announces the appointment of John O’Dwyer as a Non-Executive Director.

John will bring his extensive background in technology and finance for start-ups and SMEs to Greenman Partners as the business looks for further investment opportunities in technologies and businesses that complement the Greenman Group`s expanding European investment management business. Prior to this, John had spent a number of years at Allied Irish Bank (AIB) most recently as Head of Digital Investments & Innovation where he led a number of fintech investments and acquisitions for the bank. Greenman Partners is led by Ronayne O’Mahony a former JP Morgan and Zeus Capital executive based in London.  Last year Greenman Partners announced their first technology investment in Manna, the Irish based drone delivery business, with the intention of trialling the services in assets owned by the Greenman OPEN fund in Germany.

Ronayne O’Mahony, Managing Director of Greenman Partners, commented: “We are delighted that John is joining us at Greenman Partners. His background in technology investment and championing of start-up businesses in Ireland makes him especially well suited as we look to make further investments within the technology space.”

John O’Dwyer, Non-Executive Director at Greenman Partners, commented: “The Greenman Group operates right at the intersection of the European Real Estate, Retail and Technology sectors and I am delighted to work with Ronayne and the team to assess new areas of investment and innovation for the group that support its investors, tenants and customers.”
