Greenman has more than 60 dedicated employees from over 6 nations working in 3 different offices across Ireland and Germany. It’s time to take a look behind-the-scenes and find out more about the office in Germany’s famous capital Berlin.
Located in the heart of the city, the Greenman’s Berlin office was opened in 2013. Five operational teams are based here, offering in-house services related to the management of retail assets. The German finance team is responsible for managing and operating all financial activities related to our centres. In addition to the finance department, the portfolio team also operates out of Berlin. They are responsible for the management and operation of our 72 retail centres, ensuring that all of our tenants are happy.
Parts of Greenman’s Marketing & Communications, HR and Acquisitions teams are also based in the office which allows us to be within direct reach of our German assets and to offer almost all services in-house. All our departments work closely together to ensure the best possible performance of our portfolio and to achieve our ambitious targets.
Although Germany remains under lockdown, we have been able to keep the office open since the outbreak of the pandemic through extensive security and hygiene measures and the ability to test our staff on site against the COVID-19 virus using rapid tests.
