Greenman OPEN Implements Redemption Gate to Ensure Orderly Liquidity Management

Greenman OPEN has entered a redemption gate period, as provided for in the fund’s Prospectus.

This decision was taken by the Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) in response to a sustained period of elevated redemption requests, largely driven by a cohort of investors reaching the end of their initial commitment periods. The gate is a temporary measure designed to ensure the fair treatment of all investors by allowing for the orderly management of liquidity.

A Controlled Process to Protect Value

The gate will remain in place until the conditions for its lifting, as stipulated in the Prospectus, are met. During this period, new subscriptions will continue to be accepted, and all existing redemption requests will be queued and processed in chronological order once the gate is lifted.

Business as Usual for Core Operations

It is important to note that the gating mechanism pertains solely to the timing of redemption payments. The core operations of the Greenman OPEN portfolio are unaffected. The fund’s rental income, property management, strategic initiatives, and financial obligations continue as normal.

A spokesperson for Greenman OPEN stated: “This is a measured step to protect the interests of all our shareholders. The underlying portfolio of essential grocery real estate in Germany remains operationally robust, and we are committed to navigating this period with transparency.”
